Olea Medical software, PerfScape™ and NeuroScape™, outperform its competitors in the preliminary results of a comparative study

28th, May 2010 - Barcelona, SPAIN

Olea Medical’s stroke diagnosis suite surpasses its main competitors in a comparative study conducted at the Center for Stroke Research Berlin that aims to evaluate four major post-processing software packages used for perfusion MRI assessment. The investigation, led by Prof. Fiebach and the Stroke MRI group, reveals considerable discrepancies between the different applications and highlights the superior performances of PerfScape™ & NeuroScape™.
The different software solutions are rated on the grounds of accuracy, speed, and automated AIF selection among others. Based on these criteria, Olea Medical’s stroke suite outperforms its competitors on the following criteria: calculation time, mismatch evaluation, artefacts, and user friendliness.

These results stand in the line of a series of scientific studies, including PerfScape™ & NeuroScape™ conducted by major stroke research centers worldwide (i.e. NIH/NINDS).
